As a sixth-generation Florida cattlewoman, I’m very proud to serve this organization. I hold memberships with both Osceola and Polk County CattleWomen affiliations. I was raised in western Osceola County on the family ranch around Reedy Creek Swamp. In the early 1970’s the ranch headquarters moved to its current location in northern Polk County and the Green Swamp. Our family currently ranches in Polk, Osceola, Lake, and Orange counties. It’s a family operation where my husband (James), my mother, three children/spouses, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson are all on the main ranch or close by. As your Membership Coordinator, a key goal remains to encourage membership participation and education, while upholding the organization’s mission by promoting beef consumption, educating the public about the beef industry’s environmental and animal welfare practices, and fostering legislative awareness. We have a great year planned with special activities and events for YOU, the membership. I encourage you to participate and get involved!
