Kandi was born and raised in Florida being a 7th generation coming from a long line of ranchers and farmers. Her ancestors were in Florida Territory before statehood running cattle in open range. Being the oldest child Kandi grew up working side by side helping her father with cattle and farming. The love of God, cattle, land stewardship and agriculture run deep within her heart. Kandi went to Santa Fe Community College then UF getting a degree in Dental Hygiene. Kandi practiced Dental Hygiene for over 30 years, helped work the ranch and raise six children with her husband. Today Kandi works the ranch full time raising commercial and registered Brangus cattle along with hunting, farming, hay and enjoying her 20 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Kandi feels it’s important to volunteer and show support for agriculture in today’s world and very much enjoys her time with FCW sharing the wonderful world of beef.
