Secretary

Emma Brown

Emma Brown is a proud second-generation rancher, carrying on the legacy of her father, Timmy Johns, and a lifelong advocate for agriculture and community. Raised with a deep appreciation for the land and livestock, Emma’s passion for the beef industry has remained a constant throughout her life. She is an active member of the Okeechobee County CattleWomen and a proud member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, honoring both her Native American and Native Floridian heritage. Emma holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and spent more than two decades in the private sector, where she developed a strong foundation in management and leadership before transitioning into real estate. Alongside her husband, Travis, Emma co-owns Brown and Company Realty, a growing brokerage with over 20 agents serving Central and South Florida. Their shared entrepreneurial spirit is matched by their commitment to agriculture, as they continue to maintain a small cow-calf operation with hopes of passing it down to the next generation. Faith and Family remain at the heart of Emma’s life. She and Travis are the proud parents of three children, Kailin, Jenna, and Jace, and recently welcomed their first grandson, Dawson. Emma continues to lead and serve within the industry she is passionate about. She currently serves as the 2026-2027 Secretary for Florida CattleWomen, Chair of the Social Media Committee, and Chair of the Ranch Tour Committee, where she works to promote, educate, and advocate for Florida’s cattle industry.
