Debora Whaley
Debora Whaley and her husband Kevin (KW) as she affectionally refers to, own Whaley Cattle Company, LLC, Kenansville FL located in central Florida. The Whaley’s are a pioneer ranching family seven generations strong from Osceola County. They raised their 4 children on the ranch.
Each child was involved in either school sports, rodeo, and/or showing livestock at their county fair. She and KW are members of The First Missionary Baptist Church of Kenansville.
Debora’s background includes the Florida Cattlemen’s Association, Tupperware World Headquarters and Osceola County School District. Later years have been dedicated to the ranch, helping run the household and keep the ranch operating one job at a time.
From sunrise to sunset caring for family and cattle has been a complete blessing. Each ranch duty tells a story of stewardship, hard work and dedication of raising top quality Florida beef while protecting the heritage that help feed consumers.
Debora is an active member with the Silver Spurs Rodeo and serves on the hospitality committee, serving the rodeo contestants and their families. She is a member of Miss Rodeo America, Inc. She served as a chaperone for several years for the State queens during the Miss Rodeo America Pageant held in conjunction with the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Debora has served as a judge for many national, state and local Rodeo Queen Pageants.
Debora’s greatest love are her grandchildren. Wylie, Brody, Wyndham, Gentry, Audie Will and Ladd. They span across Florida, Texas and North Carolina.
Promoting the Beef industry is not just reaching consumers but her heart shows caring for the land, respecting the cattle, and loving her family are all part of who she is.
Serving as 26-27 Florida CattleWomen President is an honor. She will serve with passion and encourage the next generations to become involved and buildmeaningful connections with Florida Beef producers providing top quality beef for our consumers every meal.
